HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY
Today my mind is racing back to 1958 when I first met the man who later became the love of my life, Claude Mason.
When we were a courting Claude would bring me a red rose every time we had a date. I always told him red roses have their own special love message.
Today my son Alan and his partner Timothy, even though they are super busy getting ready for their departure tomorrow to Hawaii, sent me a dozen red roses.
Roses still say I love you.
Love to me is more than a sentiment. It is more than a feeling. It is prayers, with feet and arms reaching out to those who need it most.
Come on, find someone today to hug and don’t forget to smile!
