                                                                  LENTEN THOUGHTS

I’ve decided that in addition to concentrating on the tremendous cost paid by Jesus in my behalf I’ll spend a major portion of my time thanking him, reading once again The Sermon on the Mount, and specific Lenten passages.  However, I’m choosing as my major emphasis  doing the gospel.

Doing the gospel for me, at age 82, may be different from what you may choose and that’s all right.

I’m going to intentionally concentrate on three persons:  one is the recent widow of a Baptist minister who is confined to her wheelchair, the other one is a wife and her minister husband.  She’s the caregiver and he’s moving toward the upper stretches with Parkinson’s.

Please share with me your plans.
