Max Bohner, gave us some real fodder tho chew on today. Our lesson material taken from I Peter led him to ask us, “What would it have been like if you were a new Christian living in the lst century a.d. living in an unfriendly social economic environment?” Then he followed through with the thought, “What is there about your life that causes unbelievers to take note that you follow Jesus?”
Ultimately we were challenged to deepen our spiritual resources through contemplative prayer and God awareness.
The psalmist says, “Be still and know that I am God.” I reckon that means I shouldn’t try to play the God role. I’m trying, Lord. But you know I’m not there yet.”
