This morning has been quiet, reflective, and found me listening for God messages especially from Jeremiah.  Today he compared living water to tainted water as he compared Israel’s God to the hand made idols that the people had chosen.

I love the images of classing water:  tumbling waterfalls, cool mountain streams, the Alexian outdoor pool, a warm soothing bath before bedtime, a thrust satisfying sip on a muggy summer day.  Nothing can take it’s place.

I hold my nose and gasp for air when I think of cesspool, rotten smelly, bacteria infected water that is stagnant and dormant.

We are surrounded daily by choices.  May God help us make the right choices.
