Saturday

I like for Saturdays to be “laid back” days. I spent a portion of the morning on my patio, still in my p.j.’s combining hymn singing with prayer thoughts. Eventually Cleo, my beagle, joined me.
12:00 is a sacred time in my week. That’s the time my son Alan and I share via phone what we’ve been up to or have on the docket to do. Needless to say his work schedule makes mine seem anemic.
After talking with him I ran down to Walmart, did some exercising in the Alexian gym, visited with a friend in health care and played bingo. No, I didn’t win. Maybe next Saturday.
