Today we experienced the Lord’s Supper in a most unconventional way and I loved it!
For the past month or so our worship services having centered in on the concept What it Means to be the Church.
When it came to the part of the service where we celebrate the Lord’s service we all gathered around each other, partook of the juice and wavers creating a family gathering.  We greeted one another, affirmed our love for each other and rejoiced in being included.
At First Baptist We are family is more than a slogan.  It is something we try to live out.  It’s such a joy to be among people who go out of their way to  share Christ’s love with others.  Outside the doors of our church multitudes wait looking to be loved and included.
