The last two days have been closing up on writing projects and getting ready for Thanksgiving travels. I leave on Monday morning for Jacksonville, Florida, to spend the week with my eldest sister who is 95. I’ll be the guests of my nephew, his wife, and their son. I’m almost packed!

The rain started out this morning with a fine drizzle. When church was over and I motored back up the mountain by the time of got to my turnoff point a heavy fog had settled in. Heavy fogs are common on Signal Mountain. My late afternoon the rain was pelting down. Now gthst night has set in it’s trying to stop.
