FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12TH, 2014

All these years you thought Christmas was stamped December 25th.  Lately,for me, it has varied its time line.  Last year it came in time for the first Advent service.  This year it’s coming near the 3rd Advent Sunday.

Cjhristmas is a Holy Day and it is also a family day.  When my son arrives from Healdsburg, CA things will take on a new, wonderful meaning for me.  We’ll dine alone and dine with family and friends and we’ll probably do a little shopping.  We’ll share a lot of hugs, listen to each other’s stories, ands share a lot of laughs and memories.  However, when he leaves early Tuesday a.m. Christmas won’t stop coming.  As long as there are people who need a hug, a smile, or a pat on the back I hope to be in the dispensing line.
