THE FOG IS BACK

Ever since moving to Signal Mountain, Tennessee I’ve been fascinated and often depressed by days on in during the winter months when we’re “fogged in.”  If I get my explanation of what’s happening weather wise wrong please correct me.

It seems that fog is a cloud filled with small bits of condensed water particles.  It occurs when the warm air surrounding us rises up until it reaches a dew point or until the clouds are so full of condensed water particles until it pushes downward and hugs the land that surrounds us.

It’s close to 10:30 and the fog is still very much with us.

Does this sound foggy to you?  It does to me, also.
