THE MONTH CHANGED
THE WEATHER DIDN’T
It’s rainy, cloudy, and gray just like it was in January. One difference being it’s warmer.
At least my favorite trio of trees outside my patio are visible so the degree of fogginess is less. Right now they’re playing like they’re dead. They give every appearance of being lifeless. There are no beautiful blooms. They’re a trio of ghosts or might-have-beens but theory can’t fool me. Come spring they’ll put on a show that will rival trees thrice their size.
I’m on my way to a “souper bowl” of chili and ice cream. Later I’ll return home and hopefully put some finishing touches on getting my main Georgia character, N.W. Jones from Lambeth, England to his new home adjacent to the colony of Carolina.
The newspaper can tell me who wins the Super Bowl. I will take time out to watch the doggie and kitty bowls.
