14 SIMPLE WAYS TO BE HEALTHIER EVERY DAY

by Dana Covit, Triibune News Service
(to be continued)

1.  Get moving
2.  Cool Off
3.  Stretch
4.  Look up
5.  Hydrate
Get moving:  used the stairs instead of the elevator, take computer breaks hourly, ride your bike or take a walk.
Cool Off:  Turn the thermostat down, keep your bath water medium not steamy hot.
Stretch:   Throughout the day pay attention to your body, and stretch whenever you feeling cramped, tired or just generally in need of a pick-me-up.

Look Up:  Be observant and note the details in the sky and natural surroundings.
Hydrate:  Drink an extra glass of water every day.  Better yet drink a few extra glasses.  Try drinking a glass of water before every meal.
Pick out one or two of the items from this list to implement starting right now.
I’m choosing walking up the stairs instead of using the elevator sand drinking a glass of water with every meal.
Next week, this time, I’ll give you a progress report.

PRAYER THOUGHT

Lord, encourage Ken Stansell in his fight with Big C.  His mother, a dear friend of mine, was strong and determined in the face of adversity.  Grip his hand and don’t let go. Help Lori as she enables him to see the future with hope and love.  Happy birthday, Ken.
