PRACTICE MINDFUL EATING
WIND DOWN
GIVE YOUR EYES A BREAK
Mindful eating   We need to slow down the act of eating, savoring each mouthful.  We generally do better when we eat with others rather than eating alone.  This of us who need to count calories need to learn portion control.
Wind down   Turn off all technology 15 to 30 minutes before bedtime.  That includes T.V’S., computers, and laptops.  

Give your eyes a break  Follow the 20-20-20 rule.  For every 20 minutes you spend on the computer glance away from the screen for at least 20 seconds by looking at something 20 feet away.
PRAYER THOUGHT

Father, you only give us one body.  Help us be good stewards of this precious gift.  Forgive us when we abuse it in unhealthy ways.
