MEDITATE

GET ENOUGH SLEEP


Meditate : The best time to meditate is first thing in the morning or in the evening.  Suggestions: Repeat a mantra (scripture verse, a short phrase, imagine your mantra visibly.  Even if you feel your attempt at meditating is marred don’t  believe it.  Even a failed attempt brings a much needed break.

I like to lock into my mind a certain scripture promise and repeat it often throughout the day.  My verse for today: “Lord, I’m in trouble again:  grace me! hear me!”

Get Enough Sleep  Not getting enough sleep is one of the most consistent indicators of poor health. Adults generally require from seven to eight and one-half hours of sleep daily.

For as long as I can remember I’ve had trouble going to sleep.  Lately I’ve been doing much better.  However, I still sometimes have to take two Advil tablets before I fall into a deep sleep.

PRAYER THOUGHT

Lord, grace me and grace my friends whose health problems are tremendous.  Lord, hear me and hear the pleas of my friends.  Above all us love each of us as only you can.
