SHOPPING SPREE
Since being declared a diabetic in June I’ve been watching what I eat and exercising daily.
Consequently I’ve lost 20 plus pounds, necessitating I buy new clothes.
Betty Matthews and I motored to NorthGate Mall, leaving Alexian at 9:30 A.M. I wound up with three pairs of slacks, one white vest, one pajama bottom, and several pairs of socks.
Betty got one turtleneck sweater and some stockings.
Can you believe it? The stores are stocked, perhaps overstocked, with scads of clothes. But try and find what you really want and its no where to be found!
Tomorrow will be the memorial service honoring Marjorie McGill.
I never liked saying good-bye.
