COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
I love the gospel hymn that challenges us to count our many blessings, name them one by one, count your many blessings,

SEE WHAT GOD HAS DONE!

Between now and Thanksgiving I’m going to do just that.
1.  I’m grateful for my family!  On Tuesday I travel from Signal Mountain to Jacksonville, Florida to spend Thanksgiving with my 95 year old sister.  I’ll be staying with my nephew Curtis and his wife Michelle.  Their son and his fiancee will join us on Thanksgiving Day and likewise Michelle’s Mom.
My son Alan who lives in Healdsburg, CA, will be coming to see me for our bi-annual together times on December 13th.  I’m hoping that within this framework I get to meet Tina, the newest member to our family and the wife of my grandson Patrick.  Max, my son who lives in Key West will probably hibernate there to avoid the cold weather predicted fore our area.
Tomorrow I’ll share with you what makes my church family, First Baptist of Chattanooga so special to me.
On Friday I’ll share with you what makes my Alexian family so dear to my heart.
On Saturday I’ll conclude with sharing tidbits about my University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Class of 1953 friends.  We’ve been friends for over 62 years.
