I’M THANKFUL FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
I have a lovely great grand daughter but I just don’t get to see her very often.
I often see lots of my children and youth from First Baptist often. Every Sunday I’m joined on my pew by a group of teens. This group givse me company, smiles, and hugs! Talk about being rich. That’s me!
Then I get a super charge when the smaller children walk, well most of them run down the aisle of the church for their special time with our youth and children’s minister. Some of them even visit me and other residents at Halloween.
I’ve watched several of them grow from being tiny urchins to handsome and beautiful teenagers.
I’ve observed them from feverish coloring or reading a book during the worship hour to becoming engaged as participants.
I’m so very proud of my First Family crew of children and youth. They bring joy to my heart and purpose to my journey.
ALEXIAN’S FABULOUS CREW
Today we honored four special people at a service in our Town Hall. Three of the people are over 100 years young and the fourth one is 95. They gave us great stories, shared their wit and insights and amazed us by their accomplishments.
Would you like to live to be 100 and still be able to navigate on your own while possessing a keen mind and a sharp wit? This group of three women and one man meet the standard!
