The psalmist talks of a new day coming.  He speaks of water in the wilderness and of rivers in the desert.
Many are the times when we go through dry spots in our faith journey.  The source of our dryness may originate in our selves or from circumstances not of our making.
When it comes to the past it is both good and bad to dwell on the past.  We need to appreciate our roots, to cherish them, and to learn from them.  However, they become a crutch when when we lean to heavily on used to be or the good old days syndrome.  Appreciating the past should not find us unbending to change.
God offers u help in our hour of need.  Rest in that promse!
