When John Pierce came by my apartment to pick up my Chickamauga photos on Thursday he wanted to take pictures of Ms. Cleo, my beagle and me.  He plans to put that photo on the back of my book, Behind Enemy Lines.
That news thrills me and send cold chills up and down my spine. I never dreamed it would happen.  But, knowing Johnny Pierce, I’m not surprised. It’s like a splash of sunshine on a rainy day.

Cleo is now approaching fourteen and has been blind for the past four years.  Just think of it.  Every time a copy of Behind Enemy Lines is sold there the two of us will be, reminding folks that sometimes hope shines in the darkest  places.
